Tomato Pasta

My wife still has a huge collection of recipe books, newspaper clippings, little notes that she references when she's trying to come up with something new and different to prepare. I find this the hard way to find a recipe.

Last night, faced with the same challenge (she was away for the evening), and knowing there was a can of tomatoes, I check online and quickly produced the meal you see above. Here's the recipe. I added shrimp and red peppers. Another time, the red peppers would become hot peppers.

I mention this here because I want to remember how I did it. I also want to once again draw attention to the value of being connected.
