This should be interesting to watch. According to recent news reports, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission will require bloggers to clearly disclose any freebies or payments they get from companies for reviewing their products.
This is the first time since 1980 that guidelines on endorsements and testimonials have been revised, and the first time the rules have covered bloggers. Penalties include up to $11 thousand in fines. Rules take effect December 1.
